Enterprise CMS Scales to a Global Communications Program, Builds Authority
Contentstack’s Challenge
In early 2022, Contentstack was looking for a partner that could execute a global communication and thought leadership strategy that would elevate the company’s visibility and authority and set them apart from CMS competitors. Carve was tasked with taking this people-first company, led by husband and wife duo Neha Sampat (CEO) and Nishant Patel (CTO), to the next level as industry pioneers and disruptors. Contentstack also needed help positioning composable architectures as a must-have for scaling enterprises that want to remain nimble in content creation and deployment.

The Carve Solution
Carve amplified Contentstack’s presence in trade, technology, and business publications, positioning the company as the CMS leader, status quo buster, marketer, and developer champion, and a great place to work. We partnered with award-winning, EMEA-based agency, Ranieri, to do the same in the UK and Germany.
-
New product launches went from newswire syndication only to trade features, TechCrunch covered Contentstack’s Series C as a feature story, and a strategic cadence of announcements ensures Contentstack stays top of mind.
-
Carve identified key executives to build thought leadership platforms around. We landed on unique anchor topics (i.e., Enterprise Expertise, Achieving Equity in Tech) that each spokesperson could own; they guide execution across channels as diverse as media relations, speaking engagements, blogs, bylines, and more. We also strove to clear up marketplace confusion and create urgency around Composable Architectures (“Go Composable!”) through media relations, panel discussion, LinkedIn lives, and more.
-
Carve serves as Editor-in-Chief of the personal LinkedIn feeds for two Contentstack executives, building credibility and reach as a result. We also ghostwrite two blog posts per month tied to Contentstack’s People Changing Enterprises podcast. Because of our “always on” state of creation, everything else became an easier lift.
-
A major component of our strategy is storytelling around Contentstack’s great leaders and culture. This includes securing Neha as one of Austin’s Best CEOs, supporting their Pledge 1% inclusion initiatives, landing culture-specific POVs, and collaborating to support recruiting efforts in India.
